 Chipotle Baked Wings

INGREDIENTS

Serves 4

  • 2 Lb Wings

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Avocado Oil

  • Fresh Ground Black Pepper

  • Morton Fine Sea Salt

Wing Sauce

  • 4 1/2 Tbsp Chipotle Peppers (including adobo sauce from the can)

  • 3 Large Garlic Cloves (peeled)

  • 2 Tbsp Light Brown Sugar

  • 1 Lime (juiced)

  • 3 Tbsp Unsalted Butter

  • Fresh Ground Black Pepper

  • Morton Fine Sea Salt

For Garnish

  • Chopped Fresh Cilantro (Optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

  2. Dry the chicken wings with paper towels. Toss with the 1 1/2 tablespoons of avocado oil, season with salt and fresh ground black pepper.

  3. 3. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and add the wigns in one single layer not touching. Bake for 15 minutes, flip and continue to cook for an additional 10 minutes or until crispy and internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.

Wing Sauce

  1. Add all wing sauce ingredients to the blender (except the butter) and blend until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. In a small pan over low-medium heat add the blended chipotle sauce plus the butter and melt together for about 5 minutes.

  3. Toss baked wings with warm chipotle sauce. Serve hot, top with chopped cilantro and enjoy!
