Creamy Avocado Sauce
2 Ripe Avocados (halved, seeded and peeled)
1/2 Jalapeño ( deseed and devein)
1/4 Cup White Onion (chopped)
1/2 Cup Cilantro (chopped)
1 Lime (juiced)
1/2 Cup Filtered Water
Sea Salt & Fresh Ground Pepper (to taste)
Add the avocados, jalapeño, lime juice, water and a couple pinches of salt and pepper to your blender. Process until smooth.
Once smooth add white onion and cilantro pulse a couple of times until combined. Adjust seasoning with more lime juice, salt and black pepper. Refrigerate until ready to serve and enjoy!
If you love spicy foods, leave the seeds and membrane or add more jalapeño. I always taste a piece of the jalapeño before cooking with this ingredient. Jalapeños are unpredictable and can vary based on the time of the year.
