1 C. Long-Grain White Rice, rinsed under cold water
1 1/2 C. Chicken Bone Broth
1/2 C. Filtered Water
2 Tsp. Avocado Oil
Zest and Juice of 1 Lime
1/2 C. Fresh Cilantro, chopped
Sea Salt, to taste
In a medium saucepan combine avocado oil and rice. Cook over medium heat stiring occasionally for 5 minutes.
Add the bone broth, water, and sea salt to taste and bring to a boil. Once it begins to boil cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer until the rice is tender, about 16 minutes.
Stir the lime zest, lime juice, and cilantro into the cooked rice. Taste and season to taste, enjoy!
